All children are allocated a house team when they join Samlesbury and will belong to either the red, yellow, green or blue house team.
Throughout the week, children will be rewarded with individual ClassDojo points for a wide range of reasons, including demonstrating our Christian Values, behaviour as well as effort and achievement within their work.
At the end of each week, totals are added up and one child from each class is rewarded with the ClassDojo certificate as well as earning the right to wear their own clothes to school the following Friday.
In addition to this, all dojo points are collated in teams and running house team totals are shared by our house captains during Friday's Celebration Worship. Each half-term, the team who has earned the most number of dojo points for the half-term is rewarded with their very own non-uniform day.
Children also complete other activities throughout the year in their house teams, such as sitting together on a Friday lunchtime or working together at sports day.
We also use ClassDojo as our main communication tool with parents and encourage all parents to download the app so that they can stay up-to-date with what is going on in school.
